Justin Bieber kicks off 21st birthday celebrations

Justin Bieber‘s friends surprised him with a classic car ahead of his 21st birthday.

The ‘Boyfriend’ hitmaker, who is set to celebrate the milestone on Sunday (03.01.15), kicked off his celebrations early after John and Sammy Shahidi presented him with a 1965 Lincoln Continental last night (02.26.15).

A source said the Canadian heartthrob’s close pals, who are also his business partners in the selfie-app Shots, spent approximately $20,000 getting the car completely restored over the past few months.

Justin was clearly thrilled with the gift as he spent much of last night driving it up and down the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, according to gossip website TMZ.com.

The insider said the car looks similar to the one that features in the opening credits of ‘Entourage,’ which was one of Justin’s favorite TV shows.

The singer is gearing up to star in a Comedy Central Roast as part of his birthday celebrations, during which a number of comedians including Kevin Hart will poke fun at him.

The ‘Confident’ singer recently begged his long-time nemesis Seth Rogen, who previously branded him “a piece of s**t” and admitted he hates the star, to participate in the show, which will air on March 30.

He wrote on Twitter: “@Sethrogen all I want for my birthday is for you to roast me. I took the twitter bashing please make my bday and do it in person. Thanks.

“@Sethrogen I would have emailed u but this is the only electronic communication with u that doesn’t scare me. Hope to see u at the roast (sic)”

A Florida man has been arrested and charged with murder after he beat his girlfriend’s 3-year-old son to death after a diaper accident.

The boy’s mother, Chantel Haye, 20, brought her son, Khyese Anthony Coach, to a hospital in Fort Lauderdale on Monday, but the young boy had already died.

Corey Gordon, 28, had been babysitting the child while Haye went to start her new job, according to the Orlando Sun-Sentinel.

On the day of the murder, Gordon drove Haye to work before taking Khyese back to his apartment.

At some point in the day, Gordon called Haye and admitted to her that he became infuriated when Khyse’s diaper had leaked onto his sister’s furniture.

At the end of her shift, Gordon put the toddler in the car and picked Haye up from work.

“There were tears in his eyes,” Haye said about the boyfriend.

Haye then noticed her son in the backseat. At first, she thought he was sleeping.

“But when I looked more closely at him I saw bruises on his face, his temples, his nose,” Haye said. “I kept saying, “What happened to his face?”

Gordon told Haye that the boy was sick, but after getting in the backseat to see for herself, she realized they needed to go to the hospital.

“His arm was stiff — it was so unreal,” she said. “I thought it would break.”

However, Gordon drove slowly and would not speed up at Haye’s request. When they finally arrived at Broward Health Coral Springs, Haye rushed Khyese into the building. Gordon did not stick around.

Nurses informed Haye soon thereafter that the boy had been dead for at least three hours.

A SWAT team from Broward Sheriff’s Office then arrested boyfriend Gordon on Tuesday.

Authorities have charged him with premeditated murder. He is being held in Broward’s Main Jail.

Three Racist Teens Who Went ‘Hunting for Black People’ and Killed Black Man Sentenced to Prison

The three teenagers killed James Craig Anderson in June of 2011 when they decided to go “hunting for black people.” Anderson was run over by a truck driven by one of the teens.

Deryl Paul Dedmon, 22, will serve 50 years in prison, John Aaron Rice will serve 18-and-a-half years, and Dylan Wade Butler will serve seven years after all three were convicted of a hate crime for the murder.

Surveillance footage from the hotel parking lot in Jackson where the crime was committed caught Dedmon backing up his Ford truck before running Anderson over near the curb.

Anderson’s sister, Barbara, spoke at the sentencing, expressing how upset she was that her brother’s life was taken “at the hands of these strangers with eyes full of hatred.”

The three teens targeted black people that they thought were homeless or drunk because they would be less likely to tell police, prosecutors said.

In addition to Anderson, there were other victims assaulted by the group of teens, beginning in April of 2011 and continuing until Anderson’s death in June of the same year.

Dedmon apologized for his callous act at sentencing.

“I want to tell the Anderson family how truly sorry I am,” Dedmon said.

Before handing down their sentences, U.S. District Judge Carlton Reeves spoke about the race crime perpetrated by kids.

“The sad thing is these … hunts were instigated by our children, these kids,” the judge said. “The victims were targeted because of their race. These three defendants and others made a joint decision to act on racial hatred.”

Seven others involved in the harassment are yet to be sentenced.

Joseph Paul Dominick, William Kirk Montgomery, Jonathan Kyle Gaskamp, Sarah Adelia Graves, Shelbie Brooke Richards, John Louis Blalack and Robert Henry Rice all face prison time either for their involvement in previous assaults, Anderson’s death, or both.
