LOL: Guy Maced in Movie Theatre over Cell Phone

For those of us who don't know,  mace is a common name for some types of tear gas and pepper spray, so, here's the story.

At a recent movie screening in Los Angeles one audience member maced another in the face for asking her to turn off her cell phone.
According to a widely-reported eyewitness account, a man repeatedly asked a woman to turn off her cell phone, still on five minutes into the movie. After repeating himself several times, and without a response, the man then tapped the woman on the shoulder and said “You need to turn off your phone.”
The woman reacted angrily to being touched, and “flipped out” on him, the eyewitness said. “She stands up and starts cursing, saying ‘You hit me, you hit me, I’m going to call the police.’” She then turned the phone’s flashlight app on and pointed it directly at the man’s face. The standoff lasted for nearly a minute, the witness said, and she continued shining the light even as people all around implored her to turn it off and just sit the hell down.
Her reaction? The woman sprayed the man in the face with a can of mace she carried as “self defense.”
“Everyone in the audience was watching in disbelief,” the eyewitness said.
The man quickly left the theater in pain. The woman returned to her seat and continued watching the movie like nothing had happened. Security quietly came in and removed her from the theater 20 minutes later. The movie was never stopped. Apparently police were not called and no charges were filed, which is weird.
