The speaker of the Nigerian House of Assembly, Tambuwal, is rumoured to have dropped out of the race to be Nigeria's next president come 2015. It is believed that he has now settled to contest the Governorship elections in Sokoto State.
According to Sahara Reporters, this was done as he came under pressure to drop out and support the presidential campaign of General Buhari, who is hoping to get the APC nod as the consensus candidate.
